There is trouble within the Aam Aadmi Party with two of its prominent members Captain Gopinath and Shazia Ilmi having resigned from the party. Shazia blamed lack of internal democracy within the party as the reason behind her resignation. "There is no internal democracy in the party. AAP did not follow swaraj in the party itself. There is no collective decision making in the party," Ilmi said questioning if it was enough to blame certain politicians and corporate houses for corruption. However she also added that AAP had done a lot for the country. "I has resigned from AAP as I believe that AAP could have done a lot and did a lot to change the political discourse in the country. AAP has done a lot of mistakes as well and should be excused for it as it is a new party," she said.
