Google’s self-driving car: Prototype has no steering wheel, top speed of 25mph

Google’s self-driving car is no secret. The Search giant has now built some prototypes. Yes, you heard it right. The Google car is for real, and interestingly comes without a steering wheel, accelerator pedal, or brake pedal, as a car driver won’t need any of it. The software and sensors do all the driving. In its official blog post, Google reveals, “The vehicles will be very basic—we want to learn from them and adapt them as quickly as possible—but they will take you where you want to go at the push of a button. And that’s an important step toward improving road safety and transforming mobility for millions of people. “ For now, it is a cute-looking ptototype that would remind you of Tata Nano. If the technology develops, Google plans to work with partners to bring this technology into the world safely. Shazia Ilmi, Captain Gopinath quit AAP

 There is trouble within the Aam Aadmi Party with two of its prominent members Captain Gopinath and Shazia Ilmi having resigned from the party. Shazia blamed lack of internal democracy within the party as the reason behind her resignation. "There is no internal democracy in the party. AAP did not follow swaraj in the party itself. There is no collective decision making in the party," Ilmi said questioning if it was enough to blame certain politicians and corporate houses for corruption. However she also added that AAP had done a lot for the country. "I has resigned from AAP as I believe that AAP could have done a lot and did a lot to change the political discourse in the country. AAP has done a lot of mistakes as well and should be excused for it as it is a new party," she said. Anandiben Patel: She Will Be Gujarat's First Woman Chief Minister

 Gujarat revenue minister Anandiben Patel, 72, will replace Narendra Modi as the chief minister of Gujarat. She will also become the first women chief minister of Gujarat, and is certain to have a tough time adhering to the governance standards set by her predecessor. Born in Kharod village in North Gujarat, Anandiben is the longest serving BJP minister in the state. Considered a tough politician, the former school principal was enrolled in the only school in her village, which also happened to be an all-boys school. She finally went on to do her masters in science and got a gold medal while pursuing Masters in Education. She came in contact with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, or the RSS, and its political affiliate, the BJP, through her husband Mafatbhai Patel and it was in 1987 that she formally joined the BJP.
