Shazia blamed lack of internal democracy within the party as the reason behind her resignation. "There is no internal democracy in the party. AAP did not follow swaraj in the party itself. Bike enthusiasts will now feel adrenaline rush as BMW has brought to Indian shores the athletic S1000R. The new offering from BMW has been priced at Rs 22.83 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). BMW feels that S1000R will open to a good response and a strong potential to lure customers in future. This new street-naked bike from BMW has taken design cues from S1000RR, however, the radiator shrouds fitted in place of fairing that notably covers the engine vary with the ones equipped in S1000R. Mechanically both the bikes are same, a 999 cc displacement, in-line, four cylinder, liquid/oil-cooled engine is fitted in both the bikes. But the company has modified the engine a tad to engender a maximum power output of 160 Bhp, around 33 Bhp less than S1000RR. However, the torque output generated by both the bikes is similar. India's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG variant of Celerio with a price tag of Rs 4,68,517 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The CNG factory kit will only be available in VXI trim and the company is calling this eco-friendly vehicle as Celerio Green. We talked to a few dealers in Mumbai and Delhi and they confirmed that the Celerio Green will be available in showrooms in the next seven to ten days. Powering this hot hatch is the company's tried and tested 1.0-litre KNext engine, which also does duty in petrol models, but churns a bit less output in the CNG variant. When driving in petrol mode, the Celerio Green develops a maximum power output of 67bhp while when switched to CNG mode, the car generates power in figures of 57bhp. Researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have launched a new app designed to let people assume the virtual life of another for 20 days. The app uses services such as Google Maps to give strangers a feeling that they are walking in the virtual steps of a person. "We started by thinking, could we make some piece of software that allows you to be connected to strangers in a way that produced empathy instead of suspicion, contempt or disdain?" Kevin Slavin, director of MIT Media Lab's Playful Systems research group, was quoted as saying. Technology giant Microsoft has unveiled its third- generation Surface Pro 3 device with a larger surface area than its previous model but weighing lighter than a MacBook Air and expects it to replace laptops.
