Toonpur Ka Superhero Movie Review

Toonpur Ka Superhero the bollywood movie directed by Kireet Khurana is an entertainer for children with the  combination of animation with live form in film in which popular actors Ajay Devgan and Kajol has taken the leading roles.

Toonpur Ka Superhero in one of popular and big movie in bollywood apart from "Tees Maar Khan" that was released in this week and one must say it was a smart ploy to unleash this flick at this time owing to the high demand from the kids’ section.Toonpur Ka Superhero is basically a movie meant for the pre-teens. But there’s no harm for an adult in watching a decent flick even if that makes you revisit your childhood.

The story is pretty simple out here. Ajay Devgn is a devoted father and an actor but his children desire to see their dad as a real-life saviour a la Superman. Moreover the film is concerned , Toonpur, the kingdom of cartoons, is ruled by the king Tooneshwar, who is kind and just towards his people. The General usurps the throne by treachery and imprisons the king. In no time the citizens of the entire kingdom lose their liberty. Only those who are pro General gain the favor of the latter and known as Toonasurs. The rest who dislikes him are known to be Devtoons.

The devtoons wish to get rid of their current ruler and await a super hero who could save them. A kid makes known of his knowledge about a super hero of the real world who is none other than film star Aditya. So, they plan to kidnap him and bring to their world.

On the other hand film star Aditya gets disheartened by his son's remark that the former has nothing to perform in action scenes as they are done by his duplicate. So, Aditya awaits a chance to prove himself to his son as a real hero. At this juncture, the devtoons abduct Aditya and take him to their world. As they explain their intention Aditya initially, denies cooperation. But, he later agrees to help the Devtoons in their mission.

As usual Ajay Devgan did an excellent job in this movie as Aditya alongwith Kajol as his wife deserves the appreciation as the most part of the film is done with the animated characters, the film didn't require a huge star cast. Though this is not exactly a film for the grown-ups, still one can watch it and travel through the nostalgic memory lanes. It is a decent movie that came with low hype but has lived upto expectations.
