Aamir Khan in Dhoom 3

It's finally official. After months of speculation, it's confirmed that Aamir Khan will be playing the villain in Dhoom 3.

The actor signed on the dotted line on Monday evening sealing the deal. This would be the star's third Yash Raj film after Parampara and Fanaa. Apart from playing the baddie, he will also master the art of physicality for the role.

While John Abraham rode the bike and Hrithik Roshan did some high-octane roller skating, Mr Perfectionist has yet to decide what would be his signature stunt.

A source reveals, "Aamir will start shooting for the film by the year-end.

He will work on his physique starting from April to get in character for the role." Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie will also have Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra reprising their roles as Jai Dixit and Ali.

Dhoom 3 will release in Christmas 2012. Wonder who the actresses will be...

My View: It will be good to see Amir in negative charterer again after Fanna.
