Yana Gupta won't go pantyless

Model-turned-actress Yana Gupta is not going to go pantyless at least for a new years to come, as she has received boxes of panties as Christmas and New Year gift from her fans and and friends.

Yana even posted on a popular social networking site that she could start the New Year safely, as she has received lots of panties from fans. “Thanks for all the boxes of panties I've got for Christmas. Now my New Year can start safely,” she tweeted.


It may be recalled that Yana Gupta was in the news recently for attending a public event without underwear. She tried to avoid being photographed but could not cover her short black dress. The photographers managed to get what they wanted.

The stunt got her lots of publicity, and it was even rumoured that a UK based magazine offered her Rs.1 crore to appear nude on its cover. The wardrobe malfunction also invited the wrath of a few, particularly Rizwan Ahmed, a social activist from Lucknow. He filed a case against her and the organizer of the event, Sushila Nirali for obscenity under section 292/293 and 294 of the IPC in the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lucknow.
